St Vincent’s is committed to facilitating the professional development of our nursing staff. We have a proud history as a major tertiary teaching organisation, providing you with the opportunity for professional growth and development.

We offer a large range of clinical education programs which can be viewed under the Continuing Education Programs section. In addition, leadership and management programs are available through the Learning and Development department.

St Vincent's also offers postgraduate specialty nursing education opportunities to those wishing to specialise in perioperative nursing, intensive care nursing, anaesthetic and recovery nursing, or cardiothoracic and heart lung transplant nursing. There is opportunity to work toward and apply for regrading to Clinical Nurse Specialist in many of our clinical areas.
