Continuing the work of the Sisters of Charity, who have ministered to prison populations since their arrival in Australia in 1839, St Vincent’s provides healthcare services to Parklea Correctional Centre, making a huge difference to the lives of many thousands of inmates through the provision of high-quality and compassionate care. In its second year at St Vincent’s, Canvas of Hope is an annual exhibition that showcases some of the works made through the arts program at Parklea.
