Course overview:

This program aims to facilitate the development of skills and knowledge critical to educate adult learners in the clinical setting. This program has been designed to support the provision of high standard education for health clinicians who provide education as part of their clinical role.

Key topics:

On completion of this study day, it is anticipated that participants will be able to:
- Explore what can make teaching and learning experiences successful or not successful
- Describe how adults learn and recognise how this influences teaching styles
- Examine techniques to improve presentations
- Write learning objectives and lesson/session plans
- Develop and design presentations (including the use of case studies)
- Examine personal teaching styles and how these can be enhanced to improve learning for participants

Cancellation past the 5 working days and before 24 hours prior to the program half refund will be issued.
Cancellation with 24hrs prior to the program no refund is issued.
