Eating Disorders Outpatient Service You are here:HomeOur servicesList of servicesEating Disorders Outpatient Service About Us The multidisciplinary eating disorder outpatient team consists of frontline mental health and dietetics clinicians, the St Vincent's Eating Disorder Coordinator with input from Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and offers: An accessible outpatient assessment, care coordination and treatment planning service to adult (>16 years) residents of SVHNS with an eating disorder. Support with transition of patients out of hospital and connection with eating disorder supports in the community. Brief and ongoing intervention to people who are unable to access other eating disorder services in the community. Liaison with other professionals regarding outpatients with eating disorders in SVHNS LHD, including local GPs. This may include consultation on cases and delivery of eating disorder training. Eligibility To be eligible for outpatient support for their eating disorder at St Vincent's, the individual must be: A current SVHS resident in the local catchment area, and 16+ years and, Be diagnosed (or provisionally diagnosed) with an eating disorder; and Medically stable and not meet admission criteria for a medical admission under the SVHNS Eating Disorders Procedure.
