St Vincent's Nurse named NSW Health 2021 Nurse of the Year

21 Apr 2022

St Vincent's Nurse Manager Clinical Practice and Innovation,  Joanne Taylor, has been named 2021 Nurse of the Year in the NSW Health Excellence in Nursing and Midwifery Awards.

Jo’s leadership has been nothing short of exceptional, and her commitment to implementing evidenced based research and innovation into the delivery of outstanding nursing care has continued to elevate nursing excellence at St Vincent’s. Jo is truly deserving of this most prestigious award and we are lucky to have her on our team.

Further congratulations are due to Rachel Macfarlane and Danielle Austin who were finalists in the Team of the Year Award. Rach and Dan co-lead St Vincent's disaster response to COVID-19, ensuring our patients, community and particularly the vulnerable remain safe throughout the Pandemic.

We couldn't be prouder of all of them. Congratulations!
