At St Vincent's Health Network, our staff are our greatest asset. They are the ones who are best placed to advocate for our patients, to examine the way we do things and to challenge convention. This year we empowered all our staff to speak up for patient safety and quality, we gave our staff a greater voice to lead change through innovation and these awards are an important part of our acknowledgement, not just our staff’s achievements, but of all that can be achieved when your staff have a strong voice. The theme for this year’s Innovation and excellence awards is ‘Welcome, valued and safe’ reflecting our commitment to putting the well-being of our patients, families, carers and staff at the centre of everything we do.
