Annual & final reports

Submission of an annual progress report is a condition of ongoing study approval.

Submitting annual progress reports and/or final reports to the St Vincent's HREC  Complete the Annual/Final Report Form which is available on the standard forms page.

Note: If St Vincent’s HREC has conducted the ethical review for the project you are not required to send a separate copy of the report to the St Vincent’s Research Governance Officer.


Submitting annual progress reports and/or final reports to the Governance Officer.

Annual reports for studies for which St Vincent’s is a site where the ethics approval is from a Lead HREC other than St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney HREC should first be submitted to the Lead HREC for review. Once acknowledged by the Lead Committee it should be submitted for site review by the St Vincent’s Research Governance Officer with the following:

  1. Cover letter signed by the site Principal Investigator which details all documents submitted and includes both the study title and St Vincent’s Research Office File Number (xx/xxx)
  2. Documents submitted to the Lead HREC and correspondence which acknowledges this submission
  3. Submit one electronic copy only to SVHS.Research@svha.org.au
