Plastic surgery

Our Department manages a range of conditions with particular emphasis on the provision of reconstructive services for Head and Neck Cancer, Orthopaedic Surgery, Breast Cancer, Sarcoma management, Dermatology and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Our team have been on the  faculty since 2010 for the St Vincent’s Open Structured Rhinoplasty workshop which is conducted annually and serves to promote the anatomical basis of a structured rhinoplasty approach to functional and aesthetic nasal reconstruction and aesthetic rhinoplasty.

The Department has established and conducted the St Vincent's Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Course in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

We offer high volume surgical suite options for management of patients who require relatively small operations with local anaesthetic and sedation. This Minor Operations in Plastic Surgery- (MOPS) service improves theatre efficiency for more major cases and optimises patient treatment for patients in both the MOPS of main operating suite.
